Watch the video of the guy explaining what he was building. He wants the course to progress all the way through into a huge booter trick jump for the guys to just throw down on. I'm pretty sure the riders are pleased that they don't have to huck gnarly tricks off 30 foot drops and jumps for once.
I believe the course is designed to increase in size as it goes. The old course started with a sketchy drop and lots of riders never made it to the lower half of their runs....some of the last hits are LARGE dirt to dirt which should make for some throwdowns.
Dont call it small unless you have seen it in person. i was riding winter park the whole time they were building it and they did a really good job. after watching crankworx last year this years set up is a huge improvement. last years course blew, alot of people never made it to the bottom because of the drop ins and there were to many injuries. also look at how many people are going to ride this on a hardtail. yeah its not as big as kokanee but there are less full suspension bikes being ridden. its real big for a hard tail
alex pro? i hope some random plumber comes by and helps a few other plumbers flip alex's truck and bike upside down. maybe light it on fire too. alex pro is a waste of space.
Yeah, he made a mistake. Then he lied to all of his fans and sponsors and said he didn't do it. If he had just manned up and said "I screwed up, I'm sorry" I'd give him a pass. But no, he decided to say "screw you" to all of us.
Yea when I was 12, I broke someone's window. Guess what? I had to pay for the window. Alex is young, but he isn't a kid anymore. He needs to man up and pay for his damage. Until I hear of that happening, I have zero respect for the guy.
that is definitely NOT the type of exposure our sport needs, he needs to be held accountable for his actions ... put on your "big boy" pants and MAN UP !!!

even though its smaller the riders were the ones deciding what was going into it this yer so yu wanna be pissed about the size of the course and the features then say it to the riders not the builders. besides even though its smaller that just means more guys are gonna commit to hittin it big and those dirt to dirts i saw in the building process its bigger than you think

I'd say its doable on a BMX. Its not small, its just that its super sculpted and smooth so you don't exactly need a ton of travel anyways to manage it. I highly doubt you yourself could do it on your BMX, but there's probably people out there who could.
the course is small because its not made in canada, yeah u guys got montgomery and so fourth but we got semenuk and messere real talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
